Vinyl and “No Wax” Floors
DIRECTIONS:

1. Sweep floor clean of all dirt and dust.
2. For floors with an old finish - Apply Instant Wax Stripper (diluted 1 part stripper to 3 parts water, 1:1 for heavier jobs). Let stand 3 to 5 minutes, breakup wax with mop or nylon bristle brush and pickup solution with mop. Once all wax is removed from floor, rinse thoroughly with clean water. Old wax must be completely removed from the floor before the new wax can be applied. For floors without finish - Use Neutral Cleaner to thoroughly clean floor before applying finish. (Mix 2 oz. per gallon).
3. Once floor is dry, apply two or three coats (depending upon desired gloss) of Gold Label Sealer Wax or Non Slip Wax. Use either a cotton string or sponge mop. Allow 30 minutes drying time between coats.
4. For "No Wax" floors apply one or two coats (as desired) of Acrylic Finish.

REGULAR MAINTENANCE:

1. Damp mop with Neutral Cleaner (2 oz. per gallon) to remove the dirt but not the shine.
2. Re-apply a coat of Gold Label Sealer Wax, Non Slip Wax or Acrylic Finish as necessary.

Hardwood Floors
DIRECTIONS:

1. Dust mop all particles from floor.
2. Use mineral spirits to remove any dirt or old wax buildup. A piece of steel wool can be used in heavily soiled areas.
3. Apply Clear Paste Wax with a soft cloth or fine steel wool pad. Paste Wax should be applied going with the wood grain and spread evenly across the floors surface. Allow about one hour to dry and buff with a floor buffer or soft cloth.
4. When faced with old hardwood floors worn down by heavy traffic, utilize the Clear Paste Wax following steps 1, 2, and 3 above. Apply two coats of wax in extremely worn areas.
5. When you desire a hard shell acrylic appearance on your wood floor, use Trewax® Hardwood Floor Refinisher. Apply one or two thin coats with a lambs wool applicator or soft cloth. Allow about one hour to dry. No buffing required. This is a permanent finish and cannot be removed. Reapply as needed.

REGULAR MAINTENANCE:

1. Dust mop or vacuum weekly.
2. Buff as desired to maintain a good shine. (Except Hardwood Floor Refinisher)
3. Re-wax every six months or as necessary.

Wood Laminated Floors
DIRECTIONS:

Wood laminate floors are designed to be cleaned on a regular basis and DO NOT require a finish.

1. Dust mop or vacuum the floor on a weekly basis.
2. Damp mop with Trewax Hardwood Floor Cleaner or Neutral Cleaner (2 oz. per gallon) every other week for routine cleaning.
3. Utilize a clean damp mop or cloth with Trewax Hardwood Floor Cleaner to spot clean.

Furniture
DIRECTIONS:

Trewax® Clear Paste Wax is good for refinishing many types of wood furniture.

1. As with wood floors, apply paste wax with a soft cloth (thin coats) working with the wood grain.
2. Once dry, buff with a clean cloth to bring up shine.

 

REGULAR MAINTENANCE:

1. Maintain with a periodic cleaning.
