I have a severe case of what is most often referred to as multiple chemical sensitivity (MCS) and outside my home, floor waxes are a major source of symptoms for me (migraine-type vascular headaches lasting hours) but this clear wax was no problem. I applied it myself without a mask on.

The best way to protect your woodworking tools, such as table saw, planer and jointer tops, is to wax them. Trewax does a great job of protecting the tops from surface rust and is sure does make 'em slick.
